A working tested fortran or two
lint
backup XF86Config someplace (on a floppy or other machine)
run e2fcsk -p on startup on the /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2 partitions
make a good emergency boot disk and learn how to mount or change
  paths so libraries etc. are available from such a disk.(ex. vi)
backups
get Pop3 server working like it is on the other linux boxes
