HQ

HQ

HQ, or Headquarters, is not user-interactive. It is simply the communication center for the PDPRP system. The PDPRP programs can either send information to HQ or request information from it. Displayed in its window is the most recent command HQ received. There is also a Quit button to use at the end of the day, when shutting things down. For testing purposes, there is a companion program, hqtest.tcl, which gives an interactive interface to supply or request information from HQ. This program is not needed in normal operation of PDPRP, and exists only for testing or debugging. It can be run from a Unix prompt with the command: wish hqtest.tcl &.
